Pier House is a character cottage situated opposite the historic Mermaid Inn, and just a one-minute walk from St. Mary’s busy harbour.
This traditional Scillonian home sleeps up to seven guests in two double bedrooms on the first floor and one single and one double bedroom on the second floor. There is a shower room, toilet and washbasin on both the first and second floors. One of the double bedrooms on the first floor and the double bedroom on the second floor are both fitted with two washbasins. The living room and all four bedrooms are fitted with televisions. Newly installed secondary glazing in all rooms eliminates ambient noise from the street.
The ground floor accommodation simply oozes character and boasts a large lounge/dining room, with exposed beams. This room leads onto a new fully-equipped fitted kitchen.
Pier House is positioned at the hub of island activities, a stone’s throw away from the bustling square at the end of Hugh Street with its shops and pubs, and within 50 yards of St. Mary’s Quay.
It is an excellent choice for groups of up to seven and their dogs. It can also be booked together with The Annexe for groups of up to nine guests. Pier House and the Annex share a courtyard.
Due to the age of this unspoilt cottage, there are low ceilings and doorways throughout, and the upper floors are accessed via a steep staircase.
Regrettably children under 5 years of age are not permitted.
There is an additional charge of £50 per week for dogs.
